Ground rules
Reviews here are written by the parents and players who sit in these rinks. Keep them about the rink: the cold, the seats, the snack bar, the parking. These rules apply to every review.
Review the rink, not the people who work there.
Don't name, describe or single out any employee, manager, coach, referee or volunteer. If you had a problem with someone on staff, take it to the rink directly.
OK: "The front desk was slow to open the doors."Not OK: "The manager, Pat, was rude to us."Nothing offensive.
No swearing, slurs, insults, threats or sexual content, even as a joke.
Leave kids out of it.
Don't name or identify any child or player, including your own. Jersey numbers count.
No personal information.
No phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses or anything that identifies a private person.
Write about your own visit.
Honest and first-hand. No ads, no spam, and don't review a rink you work for or compete with.
How we keep it that way
- Every review is checked before it posts. If it looks like it breaks a rule, it's held for a moderator instead of going up.
- Anyone can report a review. Use the Report link under it. A report that a review names staff or shares personal information hides it right away while a moderator looks. Other reports hide it once two people have reported it.
- A moderator decides. Reviews that follow the rules go back up. Reviews that don't are taken down.
